1st update: 8/26/2024 Received the circle to search update, nice to see higher end features make their way to cheaper models...phone has meet expectations so far. The 1st picture is the txt from Tmobile which shows partial network compatibility, I'm assuming it's missing one of Tmobile's 5g bands . Phone was purchased for international travel and as a backup when our main device breaks, which has happened twice once in Greece and once in Bermuda which it's a major headache when you are not home. I will always carry a spare phone from now on. The one broken in Greece was a drop that cause the screen to crack, I was able to put phone in maintenance mode before taking to shop, the one in Bermuda, the screen went black, was not able to put on maintenance mode which turns into a security problem whith phone banking and all the stored passwords in phone, setting secure folder for all those apps and also getting a separate app for passwords, not Google. Overall the phone was easy to set up and works as advertised. The charger is a after marker charger provided in the box, better than nothing, phone box was properly sealed from mfg. Will update after our Panama trip.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G (256GB Dual-SIM) as a gift, based on many reviews about its incredible value for money, and it was a total success. I give it 5 stars because it met all my expectations. Design and Experience: Upon unpacking and holding it, it feels very well made and modern, without looking like a mid-range phone. I chose it for my sister, who only goes to school and had always wanted a Samsung; this model was the perfect choice. Performance, according to my sister Battery: The strong point. My sister comments that the battery lasts a long time, which is ideal for a full day at school and outside. Fluidity and Gaming: It runs very smoothly both in daily browsing and gaming, which indicates good processor performance. Camera: The photo quality is excellent. She uses it a lot to take photos, and the camera has delivered, which is a key point for someone who is photogenic. Only caveat: The only point to consider is that the charging time isn't the fastest on the market, but given the great battery life, this isn't a deal-breaker. Conclusion: A mid-range phone that feels and performs like a high-end phone. Highly recommended if you're looking for a reliable phone with plenty of memory (256 GB) and a long-lasting battery.

The reason I wanted this phone is that I needed the SD slot because my music collection is now about 135GB, and that's just too much for many phones. But I like having all of my music with me, plus having the phone's camera also save to the SD card. That way there's no worry about overloading the phone's memory and crashing it. I found this listed as a new Samsung A55 with 256GB. While I usually buy refurbished and save about 40%, this time the difference was only $60.00, so I jumped on the last new one supposedly available. My only hesitation was that the phone was said to have been originally intended for Latin America, but that it was compatible with my carrier, T-Mobile. My first surprise came when I turned it on and found THIS phone was originally intended for India, not Latin America. But I changed the language to American English and used the Samsung Smart Switch utility to copy all of my apps and data from my old phone to my new. That worked exceedingly well, except for my having to log out and log back in with some apps Then I put the SIM from my old to my new, and immediately received a text from T-Mobile saying that this phone is not fully compatible with their network, and that I may experience limited network access, slower speeds, reduced coverage, and dropped calls. There was also a link to a web page about how to possibly resolve things. So, after twice updating the OS, I worked through the steps. When I logged onto my T-Mobile web page, I found I had full 5G coverage with no issues. That was ten days ago. So far there have been no real issues other than the charger dying after nine days. The phone seems to be working extremely well, but I am rating it four out of five stars for only the following reasons: (1) The phone being configured for India is NOT what was said in the description. The charger dying after nine days is a bit worrisome, but I'm still hoping the phone lasts a LOT longer than that.

Had a Galaxy S20 FE previously. Replaced it with the A55. Absolutely over the moon happy with the A55. Ease of conversion using Samsung SmartSwitch - 9/10. Having 1TB microSD and 256GB RAM just fantastic. Phone supports e-SIM and camera is top notch. A "no brainer" superior value and performance vs the Galaxy option. Will never go back to the Galaxy vs the A series. Happier than I thought I would be by far! 😀

I Bought a few. They were all in very good condition (brand new) and are in good working condition to this day.

BEWARE! This phone does not connect on a bandwidth used by many carriers including Mint and T-Mobile. Does not have the 600-700 mhz band capability. It will constantly drop calls, tell people your number is not in service and tell you their number is not in service. Totally sucks sweaty balls.

Schönes Handy, funktioniert alles wie erwartet, schnelle Lieferung und netter Kontakt. Habe auf Nachfrage sogar eine Rechnung mit IMEI erhalten, um die Garantie bei Samsung zu sichern. Da ich unbedingt ein Handy mit Slot für eine SD Karte wollte, war ich froh, mit diesem hier noch eins zu bekommen. Das Nachfolgemodell hat das nicht mehr.

Es un muy buen celular, por su relación calidad precio es buena, aunque solo para uso común si quieres juegos pesados no creo que sea tan bueno, solo para uso común, como mensajería, camara, etc. Incluso algunos juegos. Lo recomiendo

A pesar de la época navideña, el pedido llegó mucho antes de lo esperado y el teléfono superó todas mis expectativas. ¡Estoy muy satisfecho!
