They did compensate me a small amount for the screws and nails. Pros. I did buy this to fit in an obscure nook in my living room, once I found the screws and nails I assembled it. This was the only one that I found that would fit under my living room shelf piece and it worked perfectly. I did make some modifications since some of the back boards were broken. But it went together well. It has a large storage capacity and was fairly cheap. The screws aren’t sunken, so you have the screw heads sticking out, and some screw holes were pre-drilled off center and took some maneuvering. The boards dent easily and the veneer strips easily, so you must be careful in assembling.
