This drum throne with backrest definitely was the ticket. I can now sit at the drums for longer than 10 to 15 minutes without extreme back pain. I would highly recommend this throne with backrest to anyone whether you have backpain or not. It’s good for your posture to have you sit up straight. For me this was definitely worth the money and the quality is amazing. It’s heavy and dense and definitely strong and very well built. As some other reviewers mentioned, the seat is pretty hard, but not uncomfortable, at least for me.
