How long until the baby outgrows the length?** A: I have the vanilla and ours stained the first time poop got on it. I thought our little one was done going and went to put a new diaper under her.... well, apparently, she wasn't finished. I immediately wiped the poop off. There is still a poop stain two weeks later. The stain is an orangish color. I tried Magic Eraser, and it made absolutely no difference. I'm not positive how long you could use this before baby outgrows it but I would guess quite a while. Our little one is 6 months and she still has plenty of room. I would assume you could use it until the baby is 18 months or so depending on the growth of your child. While I'm disappointed in the staining, I would still buy another one. I love the shape, size, color and the ability to just wipe it off. Plus, it seems comfortable for our girl and it doesn't get too cold for changes in the middle of the night. **Q: Could this be dual purposed as an infant bather? Clearly with hands on the baby and not submerged.** A: I don't think I would use this to give a infant bath. There is on incline for babys head. Just bathe baby in sink or by a bathtub for baby. It would be cheaper than this. But I do love this as a diaper changer. My baby loves it too! **Q: Would this attach to a dresser?** A: The child safety strap has self stick Velcro that can attach. I understand other people have used aftermarket Velcro to attach the whole changing pad to a dresser. I was hesitant to buy it since I already had a changing pad, but it was worth the splurge. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is worth the extra money over competitors *by L***B on 20 September 2019* It took me some time to decide whether or not this is worth the extra money over the competitors like bumbo or skip hop (who both make similar products). The reason this product is ahead of the pack is the material and manufacturing method. This material is incredible and I wish there was an adult version of this that I could lay in because it is such a nice material. It is both durable and soft and will not absorb liquids. The competitors products will absorb liquids and the material is not of the same quality and feel. It was hard to spend almost 200$ on a change pad when there is 40$ options. However, when you think about the cost over the lifetime of the product, it is not that much a difference. With the 40$ change pads, you also need sheets which cost 20$ or so. They need to be washed constantly which cost money, time and effort. Lastly you are likely to buy a new change pad for your next kid. This change pad will last a life time, will provide significant convenience of use and the baby loves it. This is one area of the nursery that I chose to splurge on and when the product arrived I was very happy I did because it is good quality. It is worth the extra 80 dollars over the competitor's wipe-able change pads due to the quality of the material and the good product design. It is used multiple times a day so it is worth it to get something more convenient and easier to clean. Edit; Been using this for 5 weeks and it has already paid for itself. First of my newborn loves it! It can a little cold so we put blanket down for his head and body, but not his bum. All sorts of crap has gotten onto this change pad and it just wipes right off. I could not image having to change the cover every time something gets on it, you would need so many covers!
