It looks exactly as it is shown in the pictures. I have noticed some already with the difference of using it. I only have had it though for about 2 weeks now. My skin does seem a little less irritated as compared with not using a filter because I have sensitive skin. My hair I can tell is less dry feeling and it seems like it makes it somewhat softer than compared to not using a filter. It is worth buying for the price and it does seem to work great. All I have to do is turn the knob on the shower head and it blocks the flow while I soap up. I thought there was absolutely no way the shower head would perform and do all the things that claimed it would for under $20. And let me just say I was so wrong. The building filter works so well that there was a huge difference in my skin and hair after just two showers. All of the different settings work perfectly and the jet on top makes cleaning so much faster and easier. The install was so easy and it even came with the plumbers tape we needed in case it leaked from the connector to the plumbing. Which it did not do at all. I've worked in kitchen and bath design for over 20 years and sold thousands upon thousands of high-end Plumbing fixtures. This one works just as well as all of the super expensive ones. I recommend product this to anyone looking to replace their shower head especially to those on a strict budget.
