Our original one finally started acting up. Our new one is working well. Our remote control does not work, so if that is important to you - beware. I do not care about having a remote - all I have to do is clap! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great - does what it should *by S***T on March 1, 2013* I purchased a couple of these for my Mother, who is disabled and has a difficult time getting around. The nights, for her, are the worst and geting up to shut lights off, especially when tired, was a real strain.This product, and the original Clapper (which I also purchased) were just the perfect solution. This particuliar one (the Clapper Plus) comes with the addition of a remote, so if you don't want to be smacking hands late at night (maybe waking someone), then you can use the remote to control the light function.They really do work well, they do what they say they do and the price (on Amazon) is great! Enjoy! :) ### ⭐ Not fully satisfied *by V***O on February 2, 2011* I am disappointed with the product. Switch II works fine but Switch III doesn't work properly. As a matter of fact, I suspect that it broke my CD player because there was a spark that occurred in the Clapper when I first used Switch III. Upon a closer look at the product, I noticed that the logo UL was nowhere to be seen. (UL is an independent safety science company. UL, or Underwriters Laboratories, has been certifying products for safety since the late 1800's. See [...]) Therefore, I am assuming that the product was not tested for safety by an independent company.
