Somehow,.it lines up perfectly and comfortably with my armrests. Very solid. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and easy to use *by M***T on August 22, 2026* These are great mounts for my joystick and throttle. Easy to install and easy to use. I like that I can completely remove the devices from the chair, leaving only the small mounting brackets near the seat base. Leaves the chair looking professional for when I'm not simming. Wife approved. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheaper Alternative to the Monstertech System *by M***0 on April 19, 2024* This product is a cheaper alternative to the Monstertech HOTAS Chair Mount. Mounting plates for the chair are very similar (if not identical) to the Monstertech plates so it should fit many of the same chairs. The vertical posts are 6020 and are sturdy enough for any HOTAS system. The product comes with Universal mounting plates for throttle and stick so should fit any HOTAS system. I had no trouble attaching the Winwing Orion 2 throttle and stick. Everything is very sturdy when attached to the chair. Now for the drawbacks and the reason for just 4 stars. The included instructions are typical of any Chinese product nowadays, relying primarily on pictures to explain things. The package included lots and lots of extra (in other words useless) nuts and bolts. While the parts lists calls them out, the useless pieces are never mentioned again in the rest of the instructions. The instructions call for replacing the bolts that mount the arm to the chair with longer bolts and some spacers that are included in the product. However, only half of the necessary bolts are included; the instructions only call for 4 bolts and 8 are needed. In my installation I didn't need the spacers so I was able to reuse the original bolts. If you need spacers for your installation, then be prepared to buy 4 more M8x35 bolts. The mounts for the joystick and throttle are easily removable if you buy a set of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KPGKFSS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1. The thumbscrew knobs are something that should have been included and weren't. Overall, this is a decent alternative to the Monstertech chair mount system. ## Frequently Bought Together - EG STARTS 2 Set Chair Mount for Flight Sim Game Joystick, Throttle & Hotas Systems Compatible with Logitech G X56, X52, X52 Pro, Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas, TCA, T.16000M - Logitech G X56 H.O.T.A.S Throttle and Joystick Flight Simulator Game Controller, 4 Spring Options, +189 Programmable Controls, RGB Lighting, 2x USB, PC - Black - Logitech G Pro Flight Rudder Pedals --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/615029700-eg-starts-2-set-chair-mount-for-flight-sim-game](https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/615029700-eg-starts-2-set-chair-mount-for-flight-sim-game) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Kingdom* *Store origin: GB* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
