The material is very heavy duty. It is a big bag, but if you're not filling it up you can roll the closure down and squeeze the air out of it so it doesn't take up too much space in the crew stowage area. There are a few shortcomings:- It's just a big open bag. No pockets or compartments for keeping little stuff organized.- Opening the bag is loud.
