I installed it where I thought I would have the best view of the most rooms from one spot and wow was I impressed. It picks up my entire kitchen, my breakfast area and my family room and even part of my dining room from one well placed location. The video is actually pretty high-quality considering the wide angle fixed lens. The night time or dark room quality is OK, but noticeably limited in field of view as the illumination is very weak. My only wish would be for a longer power cord to allow for more mounting options. The full trial service includes recorded video and other nice features that you will have to sign up for and pay for to continue to use. The camera still works after the trial period and you can still look in from your phone from the app from anywhere, you just won’t have recorded video.
