Review: Searching for a great cup of coffee has been a very long quest for me. I have been using the standard style electric drip coffee maker for over 50 years. I had gone though several of the under $100 dollar popular makers and the coffee was pretty much standard issue, regardless of all the comments and claims. I broke down and purchased a very nice French Press, as I had coffee from these and was very pleased. When it came - I then began the research of "all of the work" required to get the press coffee just right - bottom line - "No Way" I do not have this type of time in the morning just to get a decent cup of coffee ! Enter this fantastic and simple product! Yes, it requires a little more work than just pressing the button on standard coffee-maker - but the little extra work is very well worth the effort! The supplied micro-mesh stainless reusable filter is beautiful, but I add a non-bleached cone filter - I like finely ground fresh coffee. Using an electric kettle, it is both easy and rewarding to irrigate the grounds and see what your doing - no way an electric automatic coffee-maker can do this. In a few minutes, I was stunned by just how great my regular coffee grind tasted. The build quality is excellent and I very highly recommend this coffee maker.

**Q: Can this be placed directly on a stove burner for reheating?**
A: I wouldn't think so because it's glass. I personally don't use it because the filter takes FOREVER to drip and I became quite impatient with it.

**Q: Which animal is the leather from?**
A: I’m believe it is not a leather but cork.

**Q: is this product lead free?**
A: It is clear glass with cork around the neck. So unless glass has leads in it, yes it is lead free.

**Q: Where is this made?**
A: I do not know where this is from but it work terrible, the drip is nearly non existent.
