I received the ice machine in a timely manner and went through the steps laid out in the instruction manual, cleaning the parts, running cleaning cycles on the machine itself, etc. When I went to run an actual ice cycle the machine doesn’t work. It turns on, appears to run, but does not make ice. It appears the unit is defective. No big deal, I will just return it. Well despite being a loyal prime customer, and despite the fact that the item I was sent was DEFECTIVE..this seller INSS expects me to pay for the return postage to send the item back!!!! In addition I have gone back and forth for days waiting for a response. This ice machine is not light in weight. I can’t imagine how much it will cost to ship back. On top of that, I only ever purchase things covered under prime for free returns. I have opened a claim with Amazon under their A-Z guarantee to hopefully rectify the issue.
