I do take a dremmel with a wire wheel and make the Colt plaque shine alittle, sometimes the finish covers it more than I like, but that's no big deal, gives me a chance to customize each lock a little differently! Awesome product!!!

**Q: What is the diameter of the latch?**
A: It's 1.75" at its widest point,  and the latch diameter is 1&7/16." Or do you mean the cross-section diameter? That is just a touch more than 1/4."

**Q: Are keys magnetic?**
A: No

**Q: If I buy two of these will all of the keys work for both?**
A: I don't think so. The key I have is different than the one pictured, so that leads me to believe that they are all keyed differently

**Q: What is the diameter of the latch?**
A: Guessing 2". It's very sturdy and looks way cool.
