Metric? One comment said only miles. I want to measure Km on maps. Is this suitable for KM? Thanks.

I haven't used mine for a while but from what I can remember, you can toggle between different measurements ie feet, yards, metres etc. I use mine for measuring travel distances on floor plans in relation to fire legislation and the plans I use are drawn using metric measurements. Hope that helps. It doesn't just measure miles at all otherwise it'd be no good for me would it using an A3 Floorplan!
