I recommend the larger size because there are two on settings. One when you push the button to activate the power and the other setting which keeps the power on. Takes on bigger flying insects too: wasps, large moths, beetles, crickets, etc. If it doesn't get em the first time, it'll knock em down, and once they're on the ground just hold it on top of them and watch some deep-fried insect happen right before your eyes. I say all that to say, great product, I recommend it to anyone that asks about it. Update after a year: it died.
