The drive wasn’t pre-formatted for Xbox, so I needed to format it on a PC first. This only took a few minutes and was very straightforward, but it’s worth knowing in advance in case you don’t have easy access to a computer. Once that was done, the Xbox recognised it immediately with no issues. Since then, performance has been solid. Games install and run smoothly, it’s quiet in use, doesn’t get hot, and feels well made for the price. The 2TB capacity gives loads of room for modern games and updates, which is a big plus. Overall, excellent value for money. As long as you’re aware of the quick formatting step, it does exactly what you want and works seamlessly with Xbox once set up. Would happily recommend.
