I don’t know if they changed the design or people have not tried pushing their baseplate into the corners? There’s more than enough room to fit TWO full size baseplate Silva Expedition compasses. Maybe even 3 if needed at a push? Or one baseplate and a Silva mirror sighting version (Neo S). It’s designed to be “snug” to stop them rattling around. I’ve attached photos to help folks decide. I’ve tried to also show it easily has enough depth to close with a mirror and a full sized compass. It’s nicely made and protects them in your rucksack. The dimensions look very similar to my Sunto compass, so take a chance it’s a good case. **Q: Why does the expedition 4 compass not fit in it, yet it is advertised with it?
