Need better quality control. *by C***S on July 10, 2024* Bought this bait after having tried the other Combat ant gel (the one that comes in a syringe) which seems to have changed and doesn't seem to work anymore. You have to be careful when you break off the tab, to make sure it comes off cleanly in one piece and the bait chambers are properly exposed. My first one broke off improperly, and I had to poke a hole with a screwdriver to expose the bait. Also, you have to be careful when you break off the tab to make sure the liquid gel bait doesn't leak and splatter out. Can't speak for the solid brown bait, but the ants I had really took to the yellow gel side, and they were gone in a few days. One of the bait stations in the box I received had leaked out, and soaked the cardboard box. Looked like the seam between the top and bottom pieces of the bait station wasn't properly sealed. Not sure if this was poor manufacturing or maybe it was improperly stored.
