We're not into the skinny jeans look for boys, and it can be hard to find more traditional looking jeans that still look nice enough to wear to school competitions or church. These fit my kids great--they are all of average build but maybe a teensy-bit on the tall side. They look great with their cowboy boots but also look fine with tennis shoes. They hold up pretty well, and I've even been able to pass them on to the next boy down after they grow out of them...a rarity in jeans for active country boys! My boys wear these and Wranglers religiously, but I find that these look nicer than Wranglers and hold their color better. To be honest, these are for my husband who wears a 33 x 28 levis bootcut. They simply don't make these in the men's size but to be honest, the boys size 14 Husky 527s fit perfect. So far, Amazon is the only place I have been able to find the right size. The size seems to vary even though all the stores will say, size 14 husky Levis, usually the waist is only around a 29".
