Handcrafted in the USA, this pedestal comes fully assembled, making it a convenient and stylish addition to your home. ## Description This six drawer pedestal can go under your waterbed, softside waterbed, or regular mattress. Gives great extra storage space from otherwise wasted space. Drawers and Drawer Cases come fully assembled. It consists of two drawer cases of 3 drawers each, one for each side of the bed. There is a cubby door that fits the space between the two drawer sets at the foot of the bed and allows for extra storage for long items. The Drawer Pedestal can be used under King, Queen, or Super Single size beds with provided spacers. It requires wood decking that normally comes with hardside wood frame waterbeds. However if you plan to use it under a softside waterbed or regular mattress it requires 7/16” thick waferboard decking the size of your mattress on top of the drawer pedestal. You can normally get this cut to size at your local lumber yard, or order here separately. The drawer pedestal is 9 ¼” high. You can also order two sets and double stack to achieve a base 18 ½” high with 12 drawers. Drawer Pedestal is made from solid wood northwestern white pine. This furniture grade solid wood furniture produces a beautiful finish. We sand, stain, seal, and use two coats of hot lacquer to bring out the beauty of the wood.
