Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W Basic Kit with Official Case

Excellent kit with quality parts bundled together. Just be clear it's a Basic kit, not a "starter" kit. I made that mistake so had to separately get more adapters before actually using this. I'm not at all mad, it was 100% my mistake, but one I can see others making. So, just a heads up to fellow newbies to the Pi Zero 2. That said, it's an excellent package deal and I expect I'll get more in the future.

This is a good kit overall. I like the included case options and power supply. But I leave off a star because of the strange choice of included heat sink: I assume it's intended for the RP3A0-AU SoC, but its size instead matches the smaller adjacent, shielded wireless chipset. (See the attached photo, but keep in mind that the pictured microSD card is *not* included in this kit.) This probably doesn't matter much, because even the smaller heatsink should have some effect—and for my part I don't even need one in my application. Still, odd choice. The Pi Zero 2 W itself is great. If you're coming from an RPi 4 or 5, you should expect this to be much slower than those, and it only has 512 MB of RAM. But it still boots Raspbian quickly, and the low power draw is great for certain types of projects.

Good basic starter kit for the Pi zero 2w

Fun for all kinds of projects! Has a learning curve. Once you figure it out it gets easier!

I got this for my high school age nephew that has recently gotten into coding and engineering. He loves it!

Overpriced for a pi, but it was the only one in stock.

This has become my thin client that I use to access all of my other machines via VNC or SSH yet I can take with me anywhere and have a true linux device available.
