How much do you give a 6lb cat?** A: This is a hairball treatment disguised as a treat (shhhhhh, don't tell my cat!). The package recommends how many pieces per day per pound, roughly. I give my large 15 lb 14 year old male cat about 15 pieces as a treat every evening, shortly before we go to bed. The pieces are very small, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. It's the only hairball product he likes. It softens his stool and reduces hairball occurrences, along with daily brushing. You would not give this product as it's main food as it could cause loose stools, I imagine. **Q: How many calories a chew?** A: It doesn't say on the package how many calories.
