IT does what is promised. and turns it self off if you leave it alone. Saves batteries.

This thing works great. The high and low features are where it is at. It did jump around a lot more than I thought but I was able to use this to convince the local authorities to initiate a code violation on a business that was noising up the neighborhood with drunk karaoke.

This works great foe decipals on a gun range

I was very pleased with this decibel meter. I used it to check the sound level of my 3d Printer lab and also my suppressors when at the range. It worked great and seemed to be pretty accurate. The build quality was on the lighter side but more than acceptable. I was going to leave a 5-star review, but sadly, it stopped working during a test of some of my power tools. It just will no longer turn on. Maybe it's just my bad luck or a rare issue, but it happened, so I have to note it in my review. YMMV.

Didn't work at all one number doesn't even light up

Simple to use and understand. Basic function, real-time db as well as low and high db lock. Great for simple setup of surround sound speakers from listening position.
