A: The cord grommets are a soft material. You might need to enlarge them to accept the 10 gauge cord.

**Q: Are these heavy enough to stay put on windy days?**
A: They aren't that heavy but have two recessed screw holes so you can mount it to a surface (wall, fence, deck, etc.). If Iyou are worried about ground placement, you might need a tent stake over one of the inputs or use a croquet hoop over the box?

Useful for wiring cctv to avoid wires and connectors being exposed to weather. Expensive for plastic box though.
