Great for touch ups on stringed instruments
Perfect for how I use it, for touch up applications where a yellowish tint is just the thing.

First time using Terlans.
The 3.38 fl oz covered the chair once with some left over. I opened the window and kept a fan going. Easy application with rag; wipe and rub. Dries in 20 minutes. Low odor and washed my hands with soap with no residue or stickiness left. Began getting sticky on the hands after 10 minutes using the rag. Although it is liquid it stays where you rub it. It's a very nice color. I think it has durability because I see how it covered scratches and rough patches. I chose it for the 'blonde'. I have used clear for pine wood.

Easy to use excellent shellac finish
Expensive and high quality. I use it to restore vintage ukulele’s 10-12 or more coats. Since pre mixed wax free and light color excellent finish on expensive heirloom items. Love it ! Two photos. One ukulele 110-120 years old restorer and a 60 year old. Both were gross and finishes horrible before work done and using this product.

Thinner than your average Bulls Eye
It is fairly diluted, which is what (I take) the French review was saying, i.e., it's heavy on the spirit part. There's no information on what "cut" this is, but it works for sealing, and likely polishing, but if you expect a "varnish" finish, it's going to take a lot to build up IMO.

Best finsihing product I've come across in the last 60 years.
OMG this stuff is great! Negligible odor, applying it indoors and I do not need to ventilate areas at all. I was light sanding and then spray coating the cabinet doors outside. But I needed something for areas I could not remove and take outdoors. With the Terlans Shellac I did not even need to sand the worn areas. I just brushed the product on lightly and scratches and steam marred areas disappeared. I'm ordering a 2nd bottle to do the bathroom cabinets.

Smooth and Shinny!
The bottles are very small, if you buy this size you might want to a bunch of them. As a shellack it brushes on very smoothly, nice finish!
