Only problem is that firstly, the pull back action doesn't give much response to tell you whether you've pulled it back enough or not. Obviously there's only so much you can pull back but by not pulling back enough will result in nothing being fired. Secondly, you have to be cautious when putting the dart in. Put it in too softly and it won't move, push it in too hard and it still won't move. Again, there's no response or give away to tell you when it's right. Thirdly, and this is the most important as the other two points are fairly mediocre, when pulling the string back and releasing, the handle has a flick back. So when the bow is fired, the handle has a recoil and after having a few minutes of playing with it, my arm that was holding the bow was stinging from getting lashed by the string and handle. I don't imagine a young child being able to put up with this for a long period of time and if wearing a t shirt, will no doubt get a red arm within minutes.Power of the dart is down to the pull back on the bow, some times it has been powerful, other times it's been pretty poor.
