The color is absolutely beautiful! Love the red chrome detail and the ability to use the case with my magnetic holder in my vehicle! I have not dropped my phone yet since I have put the case on but seems to feel and look as tho it would protect my phone to mild to medium damage drops. The back facing camera cut outs fit my IPhone 7 like a glove!! And charging cut out area allows for charging with my aftermarket charger without taking the case off. In the past week/weak and half, with constant use, I only have two very minor scuffs on back of case that looks as tho it may have been from sliding on magnet mount. Bottom line is I love this case and would absolutely recommend it to any buyer. I am hoping all the other cases from this company are this good or better. I love that it’s not super bulky. Removal isn’t too hard compared to other similar phones cases I’ve had. It does have a car mount (I assume magnet) that you can see through the back that drives me a little nuts. But that’s no big deal. The hole also doesn’t quite line up with the Apple logo which is weird. I haven’t dropped my phone so I don’t know about protection yet.
