I do tons of insect-related outreach with 4th grade-7th grade kids and used these for the first time this past week. Kids are always so excited to use microscopes, and giving them the opportunity to look through a wide variety of insect morphologies really gets their curiosity juices flowing. The slides were super clear - some you could see well with just a hand-held magnifying glass. I also used these on a dissecting scope, not a compound scope and they worked great, but I like that I could use either scope type.
