This is a Good book. The recipes are good as well but doesn’t tell how many calories for each recipe.

    I feel lighter and better

Eating 500 calories a day definitely helps with weight loss. But the kind of calories plays a significant role in it. For example, calories from a coke are not the same as calories from vegetables. If you consume calories from a soft drink or the so-called 'healthy' fruit juices your body spikes insulin which leads to fat storage. Consuming a salad or a green smoothie is much better for your body because it has fiber to make you feel full. I modified the diet a bit to include more green vegetables. I have 500 calories a day from protein and healthy fats. I have unlimited vegetables a day in the form of a smoothie or a bowl of leafy greens. I feel better and my gut thanks me for making this healthy choice.

The book gives a good overview of the diet. There are a few minor grammatical errors. I am disappointed in the redundancy of a view points. A few statements are copied and pasted in different chapters.
