It feels solid but it is not too heavy, the wood is smooth and it is well designed. The bristles are quite firm though, if you are not used to it they can feel a little scratchy, but they are great for smoothing your skin and making it really soft, especially if you follow the brushing session with a little oil lotion. i find it is good for improving my circulation, so it should help if you spend a lot of time sitting and get tired legs. And I think if you make it into a habit the brush massage can be quite a relaxing experience. It can be used for wet or dry brushing.It is a long brush, about 47 cm when attached. It is useful that you can separate the brush from the handle, so all places are easy to reach.
