The door provides super easy access to transfer the propane tank in and out as you need. It truly is made to last with a sturdy weather resistant heavy-duty metal. It's extremely stable and i don't at all worry about accidental tip over. They even include a pvc cover for the less climacticly friendly months so it is super easy to keep nice, clean, and solid.
