Hoka Bondi 8

Literally the best pair of shoes I have ever had. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and weigh 350 pounds. These shoes help me so much! I do wish Hoka would carry wide sizes though, that is my only criticism. Well, and the price, of course.

My husband is 6ft tall 375lbs. Needless to say he needs shoes that can support him and last longer than 30 days. Hoka so far has been the only shoe to last him while still providing comfort and support. He works all day in these shoes and has no pain. They have a very thick sole but are lightweight. The best quality. Slip resistant and still stylish. True to size. If you need great support get these!

Before ordering the Hoka Bondi 8 or any other Hoka shoes, be aware that the fit can be quite tight, which may lead to painful discomfort over time, and worse if you have bunions. Simply loosening the laces provided temporary relief. I typically wear a "D" width, which is my standard width, but there are occasions when I need to choose a wide (W) shoe size. Unfortunately, there is no "break-in" period for these shoes, meaning they won't stretch in width even if you use shoe stretchers. Eventually, I decided to order a new pair in the X-Wide size instead of the Wide, and this fit was perfect and comfortable for me. Because of this, I would now rate the shoe 5 stars. Previously, I would have rated it maybe 2 stars, or even as low as 1 star. I'm not sure about the longevity of the Bondi 8, but so far over 150 miles and looking still like-new.

I purchased this shoe in an attempt to deal with some foot problems. My research showed it was highly rated by runners, walkers and their community for particular issues. The shoe is definitely well made. It's expensive, but for those it helps it worth the money. One of my friends wears them and swears by them. For me, the extensive cushioning did not work well with my particular foot problems. I went with another recommended shoe, a Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 to deal with overpronation. I ordered both shoes at the same time and tried them out indoors, so the shoes would be returnable. I am a big fan of cushioned soles and I also love the all-black design for its low-profile. I have worn Nike Air Monarchs for the same reason for over 10 years, mostly with orthotics, but my feet have changed during that time. In the end, there was a little too much cushion in the Hokas, so the Brooks served me better. Your feet may have different needs, so the Hokas may be perfect. I have spoken with my podiatrist about the shoes and pronation. He said he has recommended both to patients for different reasons. This is a really well made shoe and it might be the right one for you. Read up and ask your podiatrist, and possibly your sports-minded chiropractor, if you are fortunate to have one.

Overall good shoes but little expensive. The quality can be improved as well because it worn out too soon compared to the price I paid for. I wear it to work and I walk a lot at work in my warehouse but its seems the material they use is little common or heavily used but manufacturer should stay consistent with their higher quality of materials when making so it lasts but longer for people who uses on daily basis

Most comfortable, stable walking or running shoe I have ever worn. Only issue is that the fabric on the inside of the heal tears before the shoe is anywhere near needing replacement.

Totally disappointed with this purchase. They were a gift and appeared used. There were no tags or retail labels of any kind, did not even have stuffing inside the shoes. Box was in bad condition which is the only reason I checked the inside before giving them as a gift. It would have been humiliating to give these to someone for a present, especially when they are priced at full retail. Must be returns or display stock… these were not new shoes.

que puedo decir, parece que llevas dos barcos en los pies pero la comodidad es extrema. No los veo para correr porque son muy pesados pero para andar, es como ir sobre espuma. En mi caso, suelo usar una 41,5 y la talla 42 me va perfecta. Los he comprado del modelo ancho porque tengo pies tipo "romano", anchos sin juanetes.
