    What a fantastic compilation

I hate compilations. They should be reserved for collections of pop tunes or lists of hit singles.That a band such as Brand X should have lowered themselves to a 'best of' collection at first depressed me. However, on hearing this superb compilation I now consider it to be one of the best examples of how to showcase the life works of a band.Each track really stands up on its own and all of the skills of Percy Jones, Robin Lumley and John Goodsall are presented to perfection with a mixture of original studio tracks and new live versions. Oh and of course that little known drummer Phil Collins who occasionally turned up.For once a compilation album that can be enjoyed in it's own right without comparison back to the original albums.
