I made a mistake and bought this item because it was a good price. Missed the bit about SMC (surface mount components) Although I have built some SMC projects before and, repaired smart phones, the led’s were smaller than a grain of rice, much smaller. You could problems get 10 led’s on the grain. Found the best way to fit these was to put a bead of solder on one pad then using fine tweezers push the chip into the molten solder and hold it there until the solder sets. Them quickly solder the other side with very fine solder. However the kit is very well made and fun to build and play with if you have good eyesight and a very steady hands! Review: Absolute Rubbish - If I could give it zero stars I would. The components just came in a cheap bag with absolutely no instructions at all.
