Comes with a full sleeve removable 100% waterproof liner that can be used as a standalone rain jacket as well. Equipped with a fully removable thermal quilted liner to retain your body heat during winter rides. Both the liners are fully removable with easy on-off zippers and tabs. These liners truly make this an all-season riding jacket - Both shoulder and elbow armor pockets are externally accessible and allow easy removal and insertion of armor. Shoulder and elbow armor come pre-installed with Jacket. The Jacket comes pre-installed with a removable full spine protector that is CE rated (EN 1621-1) - Two front chest intake vents. Fit was true to size as I ordered the same size jacket as I wear in hoodie size. It's very well constructed and although a little stiff and somewhat bulky it's still very comfortable and I have no doubt that if I should ever have to rely on it to save my skin I will be well protected. The extra armour in the elbows and shoulders is well placed and doesn't obstruct movement which is a major thing in my opinion. I have a 42" chest & 32" waist so I'm on the medium/large cut line. The Velcro straps at the waist allow me to cinch the jacket tight.Waterproof/Windproof - Absolutely. I've ridden in pouring rain and was perfectly dry.Thermal Characteristics - Excellent. I've ridden more than 30 miles in 32° weather and have been perfectly comfortable with little loss of heat. It is also versatile. The jacket consists of 3 layers; outer, middle and inner vest. The middle and inner can be removed by unzipping so it's very easy to adjust to thermal conditions. The outer layer has 2 vents on the chest that can be held open using a snap and 1 vent on each upper arm.Style - This is subjective but I like the style. However, I bought it for inclement weather riding.If you're going to get the jacket then you should also get the matching pants. In December it had to do what its intended to do, protect me when I went down. I slid and rolled 25 yards before coming to a stop. My elbows, shoulders, back and skin all were protected during my accident.
