I had not heard Kubb before, but was looking for something new.Well, what I got was a very polished album with some standout tracks - glad I got it.The singles have a great sound - something like Savage Garden meets Coldplay, slowed down to true mellow. In fact, the album has a lot more slower mellow tracks than I expected, after hearing 'Wicked Soul' which is one of the most addictive songs in a while.This was a bit disappointing at first, but on further listenings I am finding I am enjoying the slow mellow tracks more and more.One more point - I found this under 'Alternative Rock' in the store.. I would describe it as neither of those! Kubb has a wonderful, sexy sound that will leave you pleading the CD for more.After listening to the whole CD, my position on this matter is the same. All the songs on the CD are well worth your time and money. The only song I find disagreeable is 'Grow', but even that sounds much better than most of the music currently on today's radio.If you like music from groups like Snow Patrol and The Killers, this is the stuff for you. Now if they would just release their lovely little CD here in the USA, we could all enjoy their magic.
