Review: Fantastic hard hat… - I work in the solar industry and often in some of the hottest places on the planet. I have a hard hat that has seen 123F temps and was brown fiberglass. Heavy and hot..! It also has a small brim. I decided I needed a better option so I picked up this baby…. (White full brim) I LOVE THIS HARD HAT..! Let me try you why… 1) It’s lighter 2) It’s vented 3) Has a full brim offering great sun protection 4) Is very comfortable 5) Holds on to the the head well 6)Easily adjusts and fits my XXL Head (Size 8) with room on the adjustable band 7) White color with a “carbon fiber” look 8) Has a removable chin straps (I tucked it inside the top of the hat if needed later) 9) The helmet sits a tad lower on my head than my previous helmet giving it a better “look” 10) Very sturdy, nothing like the Cheap-Os they hand out at the site. 11) Has options for a face shield and can easily mount a helmet light if needed. 12) Less expensive than my previous fiberglass helmet What I don’t like… 1) Flag decals put on with bubbles and 1 facing the wrong direction (Save labor, ship with stickers and let the buyer decide if and where to put them) 2) Wish it had a foam pad at the top of the head strap That’s it! If you can live with those to minor “dislikes,” you will love this helmet. Get it, you won’t be disappointed.
