The back support is adjustable using two screws and an Allen key (supplied), so I have set it up to fit my phone with it's case on.The only thing that needs tweaking (if you have a phone case) is that you have to insert a small piece of rubber or tape into the housing that holds the iPhone cable to make the connector 'raised' slightly (again, only relevant if you have a phone case.The product is extremely well made, and rock solid. This should be mentioned in the headline & there shouldn't be a cable shown in the illustration.Although well made with good quality materials, it's really not very well designed. The 'post' that your phone sits on is very narrow & offers no lateral support (across the width of the phone) at all, relying mostly on the tiny lightning connector itself for stability, so despite the back rest, the phone is wobbly & not secure when docked.
