I tend not to be effusive in my reviews, but I honestly cannot say enough good things about this Bible.+ The notes are extensive, covering almost every verse or group of verses.+ The difficult verses are explained with great clarity and insight.+ The paper quality is excellent for a Bible of this size.+ The large text size is easy on the eyes and the notes are quite readable, too.+ The binding is solid and the whole Bible seems to be pretty well made.In addition, there are "Thoughts for Personal Worship" for each chapter and many full-page articles on different aspects of the Christian life, which are both helpful and practical. I particularly appreciate the fact that this is a black-letter text. I've always thought that red-letter text is artificial and unwarranted because the entire Bible is the breath of God.I wholeheartedly recommend this Study Bible to anyone seeking a better understanding of the Scripture and a deeper inner spiritual life.
