I used them after laser eye surgery. Have checked the leaflet + it doesn’t mention contact lenses. I can recommend blink eye drops for lens wearers. **Q: How long do you use hydra med eye drops for after been opened** A: Vials are small and I used one a day. I throw away at the end of the day even if some left. Stopped using the vials and changed to small bottle so not wasting as much. Think bottles last up to 3 months. Hope this helps. **Q: If unopened, what is the shelf life? I have previously bought the bottle but it only has a 3 month shelf life and I don’t get through it that fast** A: They are individual droppers, five droppers to a strip sealed in foil and several strips to a box. Each dropper has to be used in about 8-12 hours and the dropper lid acts as a ‘cork’; very little gets discarded. The remaining droppers are unopened and therefore still sterile, with a long shelf like until opened when needed. I’ve kept a box handy since having lens replacement surgery in June 2018.
