No SONY corporate boxing/packaging so I assume this is not a genuine Sony product. It seems to work well though and the build quality is good. Audio quality also good. Couldn't get anything better for the price. I can honestly say that I prefer these over the beats on tour. The beats have too much bass and noise and no control. These got bass and it is very clear and crisp. It doesn't have choppy noise unless you are playing a low quality audio file.
