B650I Lightning WiFi (schwarz)

Arrived a day early in perfect condition. First time ever working on a m-itx as upgrading my parents prebuilt that had windows 11 force installed on incompatable 13yo parts so needed to grab a cheap but capable mobo that would support the 9600x and 16gb DDR5 out of my own gaming rig when I upgrade to the 9800x3D and 32gb and this mobo fit the bill perfectly. I know the bios will need a quick update to ensure it is 9000 series ready but other than that will be a breeze to work on. Top job would recommend highly for anyone working in a m-itx or m-atx case looking for a first gaming rig or cheap upgrade path to future proof their existing rig.

I used the ASRock B650I Lightning WiFi in a small build and it’s been really solid.It runs everything smoothly with no issues, and performance has been stable for both gaming and general use. For such a small board, it’s got everything you need like WiFi, good connectivity, and support for newer components.Build quality is good and it was fairly easy to set up, although space is tight as expected with ITX.Only downside is fewer ports compared to bigger boards, but that’s normal for this size.Overall, great value and does exactly what you need.

I bought this motherboard for new PC (my first ever build). After a week, it's all working great. This wasn't my preferred options because the reviews were around 4 stars, but I had problems to get the MSI B650i delivered.After a week, everything is running fine. I updated the BIOS and I haven't had any problems, but I haven't overclocked any components.

Upgraded my 2017 pc's motherboard, processor and memory and used this motherboard for my AMD 9800x3d with 32gb of ddr5 memory.This motherboard is compact and has plenty of ports. USB C as well as a few other USB ports. If you need more then add a USB hub that gives you plenty of expandability.It works flawlessly with my 9800x3d processor. I've never had a PC that is so fast.It has two M.2 ports. One of mine is used for the operating system. But I'm looking at a 4tb M.2 drive to replace the 4tb portable drive.I also have a RTX4070 that works perfectly with this motherboard.This board is brilliant for itx small form factor pc cases. It works perfectly with one of the most powerful gaming CPUs currently on the market (2025) and has plenty of connection options.Perfect motherboard for my rig setup. You won't be disappointed.

ram clips were broken, unsealed item

Managed to get it working, but motherboard wasn't compatible with the new 9800x3d out of the box and flashing newer BIOS have failed dozens of times until I found a matching set/versions of update files that worked.

Raid driver that is on their site does not work for this product. Eventually found some from AMD that worked.

I'd heard quality had dropped but I believed I knew better having built 4x ASRock systems and always appreciating the balance of quality/features/cost1x latch from each of the RAM sockets snapped off when it 'clicked up' as the stick was inserted.This is surely a bad batch of plastic as a RAM stick doesn't exactly take a lot of force to insert and it snapped doing what it's supposed to 'clicking into place to hold the RAM'BOX support weren't any help just binning me off with a 'we aren't responsible for damage caused during installation'.Ultimately, im disappointed by both BOX and ASRock.It should be a great product but quality control (ASR) followed by poor customer service (BOX) really let it down.

Para mí es una placa con las 3 B, aunque quizás en barato no tanto, pero dentro de las mini atx, calidad precio rinde muy bien. Es fácil de configurar y los conectores son de buena calidad, da gusto comñnectarle algo a los USB. Para mí es una muy buena opción a tener en cuenta si no quieres dejarte 300 en una mini ATX.

Use it with 7800x3d and Lian Li A4 h20. It works as expected. I forgot to check QVL memory compatibility and bought GSkill F5-6000J3038F16GX2-FX5 which was not mentioned on the Asrock site but it launched on 6000mhz EXPO normally. Boot to POST screen after every memory settings change in bios takes ~2-3 min. Also, I was once faced with one long boot without any memory changes. I'm still on stock bios.Phanteks 240d30 AIO fits well on this motherboard.Set PBO -30 (tjmax 75, PBO -30 preset) and set SoC voltage to 1.18 manually in bios (It was automatically set to 1.25 after EXPO had been enabled).

Everything seems in order, good board

This is my first AMD build since my old FM3 build I did many years ago. I love building in SFF cases and since I've always had good luck with ASRock motherboards I figured I would give this one a shot. I am building in a Thermaltake Tower 200 case and while the case is a bigger SFF case its not without its issues. I paired this board with a 7700X and 32GB of Corsair 6000mt/s DDR5 memory. Once I got everything installed I pushed the power button and waited.....and waited.....and waited.....and waited. I thought something was wrong since I had no video image for almost 4 minutes and the computer restarted itself 6 times. Getting ready to power off the whole system thinking something was wrong, the last restart gave me an image on the screen and it loaded into BIOS. Fast forward about an hour I got Windows all up to date then I updated the BIOS to the current non-beta revision using the BIOS flashback function. I didn't feel comfortable updating BIOS within the BIOS since ASRock needs you do to a workaround to get a video image on a RTX 40 series card (I have a 4070ti super). Everything is working fine at this time with no issues. I have not experienced the extended load times into Windows like some people have. I load into Windows in about 6 seconds. All in all, I recommend this board to anyone wanting to do an AM5 mini ITX build.

Casi 2 meses de uso ha funcionado perfectamente con un ryzen 7 8700F, tenía una duda si en actualizar la bios pero no tuve que hacerlo ya que permitió instalar el sistema operativo y demásContento la la compra buenos materiales, el armado y las especificaciones de la mother.Una Asrock mini itx con grandes prestaciones.
