Not Juicy Like Other Brands...** *by C***E on 15 November 2025* I have never actually had "dry" 'dried' Goji berries before (I know) - they are usually still very much juicy & soft (like raisins/sultanas)… I get 'dried' berries (including Goji) and not once had I ever seen one that was almost completely dried, with the bare-minimum of pieces that had a 2% softness in the centre-ONLY (and with 'dusty' residue around the bag). Not to say they are necessarily 'bad', in-fact, they're quite good when blended-into a batch of smoothies (which is what I use them for), but I, personally, would not enjoy them as a snack, by themselves... they definitely require soaking to bring-out their more desirable texture + flavour profile. 200g is not a lot when you use them in large 2-day smoothies batches; I literally only purchased these to last me 3-4 days, until I get my monthly subscriptions of nearly Β£200 in smoothie ingredients... A single bag is only sufficient in 2-3 large batches of 40-50+ ingredients... the size is not massive, but still reasonable, especially considering how many berries are actually in each bag! I suppose that the value is not too bad, which is why I bought these as a temporary, one-off substitute; they are considerably cheaper than the majority, if not ALL, of the other brands! I love using Goji berries - they have such a unique, distinctive flavour that enhances any smoothie and are packed with vital nutrients; they also produce a rich taste and nice texture, whilst creating a slightly deep-golden colour to the mix (oddly-enough).
