It's look like you guys sent me bad items

If rated on customer service alone it would be five star. The tool is more than a diy scanner. It is a tool that could be used in a professional shop. It would be very easy to get into trouble by not knowing what you are doing. That being said, investigate the specific problem and and this tool will more than likely find the problem. The bidirectional controls are fast and accurate. the special function testing is on the level of oe scanners. The ability to work with this tool is far beyond the price. Solve one trip to the dealer, the machine pays for itself. This is an edit on the machine. The machine is a great tool. The customer service is better. With the help of customer service I was able to use the functions of the scanner. I am not a pro and did not use everything. If there is a problem with this scanner, it is that it is equal to the high level professional scanners. If anyone is not sure of what to do with the scanner don't just push buttons to find out what this scanner was not even able to read a VIN number. the first could but did not meet expectation. I also have an old Creader 5001/3001 that was able to access all VIN information and run simple obd2 scans. The old Creader did a great job. I tried two new ones (431X) and sent them back. I am not sure what product I will be trying next, but I did try to find contact information on amazon, and was not able to locate the information. I wanted to contact them first before posting a negative review. I am a DIYer' I am curious about the oe level equipment, but with a lack of contact it is not likely that I will make the another try. It is not only the equipment I question, but also the customer service. (unable to contact through the amazon store. I am still considering the x431 elite pro. not sure of the product. Soon after the seller reached out to find a solution. They reached out to me. That is the mark of great customer service and wish I could just rate that aspect. They are 5 star in that department. I was ready to call it done. I agreed to try another one. They provided it and I was met with another fail. I went through the set up and updates all worked. the next morning restarted the tool and it powered on for a second or two. Then it shut down. the same situation with 10 attempts. I am confused by the product. Did the set up to include demo, then it would not work on 2nd power up. Attempted on three power sources. Not sure what I will do next.

The AC blend door actuators (servos) had lost their calibration, which happens when the system forgets the physical limits of the doors, causing incorrect air temperature and distribution. To fix this properly without tearing the dashboard apart, you need a bi-directional scanner capable of writing commands to the HVAC module, not just a basic code reader. This LAUNCH scanner handled it perfectly. I navigated to the bi-directional controls, initiated the 'Servo Motor Initialization' procedure, and let the scanner force the module to sweep the actuators and relearn their end stops. It worked flawlessly on the very first try and completely restored my AC system's functionality. The interface is super easy to use and intuitive. I was having problems with the air conditioning working intermittently on a 2012 Toyota Corolla. This Launch scan tool was specific for Toyota/Lexus. It's also available for other auto manufacturers, you simply choose which one at checkout. The scan tool read a B1479 error code which is for the A/C flow sensor circuit. I initially thought that I may have a faulty flow sensor due to the specific code but there's also a flow control solenoid which is mounted adjacent to the flow sensor on the compressor. There are other sensors and switches in this AC circuit that can cause issues relating to this code so it's important to do a proper diagnosis and this tool has the capability to diagnose these types of issues. If you see the attached pictures I was able to combine data pids to see what the sensors were doing as they were working together. In the photos you can see that I combined the pids into live graphing to see what they were doing in real time. (Note) I took the pictures after the repairs to show what they should look like when working properly. Prior to the repair most of the graphing was flatlined not doing much due to the faulty control solenoid. This is a very capable scan tool that packs a punch for its small size and great price. This tool can do many other other functions throughout the vehicles electrical system. One other very nice added feature is there's a lifetime of updates which keeps this scan tool current. Also, if you decide to add other auto manufacturers you simply go to the Mall button on the home screen and you'll see the list of other manufacturers you can purchase.

Bought this tool for one reason. To turn off the seat belt beep on my 2018 rav4 it worked. Also on 2014 sienna as well. This scanner has a lot of features I mean a lot. Too many to mention. If you need a scan tool to do something on a toyota minus tuning fuel trims this will likely do it. The two draw backs are it a slower android device which is understandable given the price. Also the smaller version has no battery and will need to be plugged into the obd port or usb-c to work. Which i don't even consider a drawback as the is no battery to fail. I have an old cheap MaxiScan MS300 with no internal battery and its been in my daily for over a decade. Hope this one is the same way.

The page seems to promise free lifetime updates, but the Creader Elite manual clearly says "Use of the dianostic software pre-installed on the tool is free of charge forever, but the free update period is only the first year." This page states repeatedly states things such as: - "Lifetime Fr-ee Update" - "Lifetime F.r.e.e Update" - "The Launch Creader Elite Engine Code Reader Tool for Toyota provides lifetime f.ree software update for all Toyota and Lexus vehicles without any subscription fee. One-click online f.r.e.e update to enjoy the latest feature and a wider range of models anytime." Notice the misspellings of "free" on the page as "fr-ee", "f.r.e.e", "f.ree". There are no correct spellings of "free". I suspect that misspelling are deliberate so that they can later claim that 'we never said it was "free", we said it was ""fr-ee", "f.r.e.e", "f.ree"' followed by some ridiculous explaination for what those acronyms mean. I contacted the manufacturer who seemed to confirm that there are not lifetime free updates, stating that the dealer marketing page represents the seller's personal understanding only. Maybe it's a good product, maybe it's not. Maybe it's worth an annual subscription. I will never find out because I can't support what seems in my opinion to be deceptive.
