Does anyone know what these are made out of or what kind of cleaning agent is in it? Thank you

The magic eraser is a micro abrasive. It's like a super fine scrub brush. No cleaning agent as far as I know. Works great for getting crayons off plastic surfaces and even gets it off walls but be careful as it will strip the paint if you scrub too much.

Is it OK to use these on the glass on a smooth top range?

I just used it on my glass top range and it cleaned without scratching. Go at it slowly and do a test area. I think it will do great.

can i use it on the plastics in and out of my honda crv?

Our Magic Erasers are safe to use on plastic, and you can use the Original, Duo and Extra Power versions on paint, however, we don't recommend using it on faux paint, car paint or surfaces where painted within the last 3 months. Only use on 'matte' or 'flat' finishes.
