Make sure that you carefully separate the adhesive covers from the adhesive, and in some cases, you might have to remove them from a different direction that that which you started from. Easy to apply as they are self adhesive. Hopefully they will hold up.EDIT : I still use these for my home daycare and I do like them. Only compliant is that they are kind of easy for the Littles to pull apart. I have toddlers that like to pick at them and chew them. I think its probably a good thing the adhezive is easily released though so removing the foam pieces doesnt harm the finish of the furniture.
