These were 1 of 2 brands that I chose. They are slightly lighter than the 20+ year old ones being replaced, and that may be because of a difference in plastic - I am unsure. You will have to use multiple wraps of the white plumbers tape, or the white liquid plumbers sealant to make certain they do not leak through the threads. I had to reapply tape to seal well on these. For the price, I would buy again.
