Caution - ghost touches and total lockout after 4 months of use
Super impressed. Just used this item to replace the busted screen on my SE 2020 and it works great. I recommend. I looked up a YouTube video to help w/the replacement. I will say this does not have the interior plate, which wasn't a problem b/c I just reused the plate on my old screen and it was fine. I recommend! Great quality, works with the Apple and doesn't throw errors. Connects well. Everything is sized perfectly. The seal that came with it works great too; fit perfect. UPDATE 12/21/25 - woke up this morning to a locked out iphone and I can only assume it was due to this aftermarket screen I'd put in and "too many ghost touches" even though there were literally zero touches on this phone for a period of 7 hours. I'll be buying a new phone instead of replacing the screen again. This was a hard hit and totally sucks. Seems Apple somehow figured out it was aftermarket and then locked it out as a result.

Good Kit for DIY โ But Expect Some Flaws
I bought this screen replacement for iPhone 8 / SE 2020 and overall it works okay. The display looks clear and bright, and the included tools are helpful. It did restore my phoneโs touch response and colors nicely. However, installation was tricky in places โ the connectors are delicate and must be handled gently. Also, one of the parts felt a bit flimsy, so I hope it holds up over time.
