Durable Design: Laminated pages allow for frequent use on job sites, making it a reliable reference tool in the field. Review: One Of The Best References Ever - I've used the various Code Check guides for the national building codes (e.g. building, electrical, plumbing, etc.) for decades. They're accurate, quick and easy to use with their spiral design and cascading page tabs. The plastic laminated thick pages really hold up on a construction site with all kinds of things/debris landing or spilling on them, getting tossed into toolboxes and attached to clipboards. I especially like these additional small but very useful features: 1) they highlight when different building codes have different requirements, 2) they provide references to the actual code sections if you do need to refer to the actual code for unusual situations, 3) there's a comprehensive glossary in the front for abbreviations, applicable codes, and in the back changes to the codes, 4) there's a QR code to bring up state building codes, 5) it contains lots of diagrams that make complicated code requirements easy to understand. It's a great tool for apprentices starting out in any code-governed trade, for DIYers and homeowners, and even journeypersons and master tradespeople who may face a construction situation that they haven't seen before, like someone who has been doing commercial electric who now has to work on a single family home or a swimming pool. Code Check is much better and easier to use than the actual building code books, and it comes in an electronic version for the mobile device. While they're a little pricey, they're worth every penny. I highly recommend this product or the versions that apply to just one trade (e.g. electrical, plumbing, etc.) Review: Clear, Practical, and Perfect for Real-World Reference - The Code Check 10th Edition is one of the best quick-reference guides for builders, renovators, and homeowners who want to make sure everything is done right and safely. The layout is clean, the illustrations are sharp, and every section ties directly to current IRC, IBC, and NEC standards. What I like most is how it distills complex code language into plain English with diagrams โ no guessing or flipping through hundreds of pages. The cross-references make it easy to jump between plumbing, electrical, and structural topics. I keep mine on the workbench for remodel projects and inspections; itโs saved me a few mistakes already. Whether youโre a DIYer or a licensed pro, this book earns its place in your toolbox.

Excellent Quick Reference
This is a valuable reference, which saves an individual builder searching through the codes for each detail, or making his own checklist when plannng. Really a terrific resource! You may still have to go to the codes book for additional details, but 99% of everyday things are here. It is a spiral bound flip sheet type book, and the pages are durable water resistant paper. Well worth the small cost!

Very helpful tool to have while working with multiple contrators
We have been using this book on the worksite for months, So great to have an easy to read book that I can share one site with others. While itโs easy to get on line and looks things up, this is tangible and you know itโs accurate. I highly recommend this for anyone working with several different trades on a project.
