Unlike my old heavy HurryCane with hard rubber tripod foot, this one does not hit the floor with a thud. It touches down on wood flooring because it's a softer rubber (that's not to say this won't harden with age). This is good because I live above someone. It is well balanced, and doesn't fall over when standing on the quad foot. Also, the color that looks blue green, arrives in a flat metallic bright teal. It's not bad so I am keeping it.
