Make sure that you spin the seeds/sprouts until nearly all water is expelled: You should have seeds/sprouts that are all but dry. **Q: Dishwasher safe?** A: Don't wash it in a dishwasher. All you need to do is simply remove all the sprouts, their roots and any left over seed coats, and give it a rinse with water, then fill it with water and put in a small amount of bleach to sterilize it, let it sit for 15 minutes, then rinse it out several times again, and it is ready to be used again.
